Friend to Legend ("We", "Us", "The Game") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you connect your wallet and play our game.

CORE PRINCIPLE: MINIMAL DATA COLLECTION We are a Web3-native game. We do NOT collect your email address, phone number, real name, or credit card information. Your identity in our game is linked solely to your public cryptocurrency wallet address.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the minimum amount of data necessary to operate the Game:

1.1. Wallet Information (Public Data)

When you connect your wallet (e.g., StarKey, Supra Wallet) to Friend to Legend, we collect and store:

  • Public Wallet Address: This serves as your unique User ID in our database.
  • On-Chain Activity: Your transaction history related to the Game (e.g., tokens claimed, NFTs minted) which is publicly available on the Supra Blockchain.

1.2. Game Progress Data (Off-Chain)

To provide a seamless gaming experience, we store gameplay data associated with your Wallet Address in our centralized database (Supabase), including:

  • Character levels, stats, and inventory (virtual items).
  • Game settings and preferences.
  • Logs of in-game actions for anti-cheat purposes.

1.3. Technical Information (Automatically Collected)

When you access our website, our servers (hosted on Vercel) may automatically log standard technical data for security and performance monitoring:

  • IP Address: Used solely for rate-limiting, DDoS protection, and geo-blocking sanctioned regions.
  • Device Information: Browser type, device model, and screen resolution (to optimize the UI for mobile/desktop).

2. WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

For clarity, we explicitly state that we DO NOT collect or store:

  • Your Private Keys or Seed Phrases (We never have access to these).
  • Your Email Address or Phone Number.
  • Your Real World Identity (Name, Physical Address, KYC documents).
  • Your Financial Information (Credit Card numbers, Bank accounts).

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the limited information we collect to:

  1. Authentication: Verify ownership of the wallet address to grant access to your account.
  2. Gameplay: Save your progress, inventory, and stats so you can resume playing later.
  3. Security: Detect and ban bots, cheaters, or suspicious activities (e.g., multiple accounts from the same IP farming tokens).
  4. Improvement: Analyze aggregate data (e.g., "How many players use Mobile vs. PC") to improve the Game.

4. COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

We use minimal cookies and local storage technology strictly for essential functions:

  • Session Cookies: To keep you logged in so you don't have to re-sign a message every time you refresh the page.
  • Local Storage: To save your temporary UI settings (e.g., sound volume, graphics quality).

We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. However, we rely on trusted service providers to operate:

  • Supabase: For database hosting (storing your game progress).
  • Vercel: For website hosting.
  • Supra Blockchain: All on-chain transactions are public and permanent. We cannot control or hide data written to the blockchain.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Since we only identify you by your Wallet Address:

  • Access & Correction: You can view your game data directly within the Game interface.
  • Deletion: You may request to delete your off-chain game progress (Web2 data) by contacting support. However, your on-chain transaction history on the Supra Blockchain cannot be deleted.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Game implies your acceptance of the updated policy.
